What is geocoding?

Geocoding is the process of converting addresses (like "123 Main St, New York, NY") into geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude). These coordinates can be used to place markers on maps.

What is reverse geocoding?

Reverse geocoding is the opposite - converting coordinates (like 40.7128, -74.0060) back into a human-readable address.

What file formats are supported?

• CSV (.csv)
• Excel (.xlsx, .xls)

Is there a row limit?

The free tier allows 100 rows. Paid plans support thousands of rows per task.

Pricing

Is it really free?

Yes! Your first 100 addresses are completely free. No credit card required.

What happens if I exceed my limit?

You'll be prompted to upgrade or pay for additional addresses before processing can continue.

Can I get a refund?

Contact support within 7 days of purchase for refund requests.

Data & Privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely. We don't share your data with third parties.

How long is my data retained?

Task data is retained for 30 days. Download your results before they expire.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual tasks from the My Tasks page, or contact support to delete your entire account.

Technical

Why is my address showing wrong coordinates?

Common causes:

• Missing city or state
• Typos in the address
• Similar street names in multiple cities

Add more detail (city, state, zip, country) for better accuracy.

What's a "relevance score"?

A number from 0 to 1 indicating how confident the geocoder is about the match. 1.0 is a perfect match, below 0.5 may need manual verification.

Can I use the API?

API access is available for programmatic geocoding. Contact us for details.

What geocoding service do you use?

We use multiple geocoding providers for accuracy and coverage, including industry-leading services.

Account

Do I need an account?

No account needed for the free tier (up to 100 addresses). An account is required for:

• Tasks over 100 rows
• Accessing My Tasks history
• Subscriptions

How do I reset my password?

Click "Sign In" → "Forgot Password" and enter your email address.

How do I delete my account?
